The agreement has been signed at FEINDEF, where Andalusia had for the first time an institutional stand of the Regional Ministry of University, Research and Innovation

The JR Vice President of Pegasus Aero Group, Miguel Ángel Tamarit, has signed with the President of the Andalucía Aerospace business cluster, Antonio Gómez-Guillamón, and the managing director, Juan Román, the adhesion of the Andalusian company to the business cluster, coinciding with the Fair Defense and Security International (FEINDEF) held in Madrid from May 17 to 19.

The signing ceremony was chaired by the Regional Minister of University, University and Research, José Carlos Gómez Villamandos.

At the signing, the representatives of the entities highlighted the importance of unity in the sector to face the great challenges they face after the pandemic, such as the internationalization, transformation, diversification and innovation of the aeronautical and defense sector in our region.

The Vice President of Pegasus, Miguel Ángel Tamarit, highlighted the relevant role played by the Andalucía Aerospace Cluster, being one of the most active in our country and an essential axis for the development of the industry and the competitiveness of the company.

In this way, Pegasus is already integrated into the different work commissions and initiatives that the cluster has been developing, with special interest in monitoring the execution and development of the Andalusian Aerospace Strategy 2020-2027.

With the incorporation of Pegasus, Andalucía Aerospace continues to grow and now has 92 associates.

The act was attended by the Regional Head of Universities, Research and Innovation of the Junta de Andalucía, who underlined the importance of the activity carried out by the company Pegasus Aero Group both nationally and internationally, and its strategic situation in the field of air operations, simulation, training and aircraft maintenance, crucial for the strategic development of the Andalusian aeronautical industry.
