The Center has increased its workforce by 15% during 2023, reaching 135 employees, and foresees a growth of 20% for this year, thus continuing the upward trend of new incorporations in the last two years

CATEC is strongly rooted in Andalusia, a Region in which it has three own centers, one in Seville, where its headquarters are located, and two in Jaén, specialized in carrying out flight tests for unmanned systems and drones (ATLAS centers ), being, therefore, the Region in which the majority of its employees work. In addition, the company has recently opened new headquarters in Santiago de Compostela, where it has doubled its workforce in just a few months.

Most of the professionals who are part of its staff are engineers and technicians from different branches: Aeronautics, Mechanics, Electronics, Robotics and Mechatronics, Materials, Physics, Telecommunications, Industrials, developing projects for different sectors, especially aerospace, although in recent years it has been expanding to new sectors of Industry and Energy.

CATEC’s commitment to incorporating talent and achieving excellence has made it currently the largest private aerospace technology center in Spain, by number of engineers, size, presence and national footprint. Likewise, it is the main technological center of the Spanish aerospace industry, participating in 18 consortia and projects of the PTA call in which it collaborates with more than 26 companies developing innovative technological solutions for the aeronautical industrial fabric in topics such as cognitive robotics, Artificial Intelligence , Deep Learning, Virtual and Augmented Reality or the industrial metaverse.
