The company signs new contracts for 48 million, 57% more than those of the same period of 2021

Artificial continues the path of growth after achieving a significant increase in the volume of contracts awarded in this first half of the year. Thanks to the strategy of geographical, project and customer diversification, implemented after the pandemic, the Group has managed to close new projects worth 48.2 million euros until June 2022. This figure represents a growth of 57% in the volume of new contracts compared to the same period of the previous year. This new number of new contracts signed, which even exceeds the registered pre-pandemic, will be reflected in the company’s accounts when it presents its results, as corresponds to that listed on the continuous market.

This latest volume of awarded projects reaffirms the value proposition of each division and its ability to develop in an environment marked by the war in Ukraine, imbalances in global supply chains, widespread price increases and the latest consequences of the pandemic of COVID-19.

The Intelligent Robots division has led in contracting level after signing agreements worth 31.4 million euros. Being a benchmark in the design and optimization of industrial production chains for its innovative solutions, this figure represents more than double the awards registered in the first half of 2021, which shows the confidence of the industry in added value that Artificial Intelligent Robots brings in this area. In addition, the division, which has recently expanded its geographical presence to the Indian market, exceeds its pre-pandemic figures and confirms its positive evolution.

Aerospace & Defense has achieved the highest percentage growth of the three divisions in the volume of projects awarded, with an increase of 82% compared to the same period in 2021. In this way, new contracts have been signed for a value of 7.3 million euros and confirms its positive path with the commitment to new and emerging sectors, such as New Mobility, in addition to its traditional presence in the aerospace and defense sectors.

Finally, the Inypsa Civil Works division also increased the sum of its new awards in this period to reach 9.4 million euros, 50% more than the volume of contracts in the first half of 2021. Specifically, the Inypsa Civil Works unit reinforces its commitment to the geographies where it maintains its main activity with projects of historical relevance for the division in the water and transport engineering sectors. In addition, the division has managed to position itself as a relevant player in the management of air control and management systems, as evidenced by the agreement signed with the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge of the Government of Spain.
