The Andalusian aeronautical group plans to increase aircraft maintenance services to third parties and projects an aggregate turnover of more than 15 million euros in the next 4 years

The Ministry of Defence, through the Army, has awarded the Andalusian company Pegasus Aero Group a maintenance and spare parts supply contract for the AB 212 helicopter fleet with a duration of up to four years and a budget of up to 9 million of euros.

This contract will extend the life of up to six helicopters that make up the fleet of this unit, assigned to missions in Lebanon, as well as training and training.

Among the works to be carried out, corrective and preventive maintenance, certification and technical assistance, support, personnel training and other tasks directly linked to the main components of the helicopters stand out. The greatest workload is concentrated in the company’s facilities in Palma del Río (Córdoba).

Extensive Experience in Helicopter Maintenance and Future Prospects

Pegasus Aero Group currently maintains a fleet of helicopters that exceed one hundred units through its network of maintenance centers, located in Spain (Palma del Río and Valladolid), Italy, Portugal, Uruguay and Chile. Every year it performs more than one hundred thousand hours just in this MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) activity, which makes it one of the companies with the largest helicopter maintenance capacity in Europe, having authorizations to maintain up to ten different models .
