With this Máster, Fronius Spain Perfect Welding reinforces its commitment to training
Last September began the face-to-face classes of the Master in Engineer, Technician and International Welding Specialist (IWE/T/S) that Fronius Spain Perfect Welding imparts with the accreditation of the Spanish Association of Welding and Union Technologies, CESOL, in the training room that Fronius houses at its facilities in Getafe (Madrid).
This degree, in a blended mode, is a milestone for Fronius and reinforces its great commitment to training, already demonstrated with the creation of the Welding Business Academy (WBA), in 2020, its offer of free webinars on its welding technology and courses for companies and technical assistance, among other activities.
Companies that belong to sectors where welding is part of their activity, increasingly consider essential to have expert welding personnel who manage all areas of the company that influence the quality of a welded production and ensure compliance with standards such as EN 1090, EN 15085 or EN ISO 3834.
For this reason, the Spanish subsidiary of Fronius, as an expert and leader in welding technology, has undertaken this training project with the participation of renowned teachers and of course, the specialization and resources, both human and technological, of the Austrian brand.
“We have worked hard to offer the most important qualification in welding at an international level, with the highest quality. Organizing the IWE/T/S Master, surrounded by the most innovative welding solutions is a privilege that we hope to be able to transmit to the students, ”said Santiago Isidro, Head of the Welding Business Academy, teacher and coordinator of the IWE Master.
The Master IWE/T/S, consisting of four modules and workshop practices, will provide students with knowledge about welding processes, metallurgy, welded joint design and related regulations, in such a way that upon completion, they will be able to select the most suitable welding process for production, know the behavior of metals during welding, analyze the design of a welded assembly, implement welded production control systems, etc. In short, possess the necessary skills to implement the tasks described in EN ISO 14731.
Also in September, just before the start of the first face-to-face class, Fronius Spain received the ATB-ES-034 certificate, a document that certifies that it passed the corresponding audit by complying with all the requirements established by the International Welding Institute, IIW and the European Welding Federation, EWF, to impart the aforementioned qualification. The ATB-ES-034 certificate supports the teaching capacity, as well as the provision of adequate facilities and means by those who possess it, to organize and teach the aforementioned international qualification.
Fernando Mañas, CEO of CESOL, was the person in charge of delivering the document to Isaac Lozano, Commercial Director of Fronius Spain Perfect Welding and Santiago Isidro.
“The welding qualifications system of the International Welding Institute is the best guarantee for professionals that their training will have a high added value in the industry and their qualifications will be recognized worldwide. The fact that a first-rate company like Fronius has decided to bet on it is great news ”, stated Fernando Mañas. “On the other hand, I would like to show all my support to the students who start this course and I urge them to apply themselves in depth to complete this excellent training successfully”
At Fronius Spain, they trust the success of this first Master, so much so, that they have already opened the registration period for the second edition.
