The company participates in the development and manufacture of different Eurofighter equipment
Coinciding with the signing of Halcón by Spain for the acquisition of new Eurofighters, the CESA (HD Spain) delegation received a visit from the Secretary of State for Defence. During it, its general director, Pedro Sallent, General Director, highlighted the programs in which CESA participates based on its more than 30 years of experience to develop different aeronautical systems for Eurofighter, being the only Spanish company in Aircraft Actuation Systems.
The company’s strategic lines in flight controls and landing gear and the significant investment in R&D for the development of different future technologies were also presented. The Secretary of State was also interested in the impact of COVID on the company, to which Pedro Sallent was able to confirm that it was minimal and work has continued to fulfill commitments with all customers.
CESA is highly involved in programs such as A400M, C295, Eurofighter of great interest to Spain and is committed to continuing to support national defense needs in future programs such as Eurodrone and FCAS, among others.
The company participates in the development and manufacture of different Eurofighter equipment, for which the signing of Halcón is also received as good news for the company for the coming years in terms of production. Likewise, it puts at the service of the Air Force all the capacities it has to support the life cycle of the EA according to its specific needs that it had in the 46th Wing.
During the visit, the Secretary of State was accompanied by the Ambassador to Germany Ricardo Martínez Vázquez and the Defense Attaché Office in Berlin, and different senior officials from the Secretary of State for Defense headed by the Chief of the Technical Staff, Division General Miguel Ivorra.
