Airtificial Intelligent Robots wins contracts for 11.3 million euros and the Infrastructure Business unit several water engineering contracts
The company Airtificial ensures in the third quarter of 2021 a contracting volume amounting to 16.3 million euros. The Intelligent Robots business unit has closed awards for a value of 11.3 million in NAFTA, China and Europe with two new clients, two global Tier1 of the automotive sector, and the Infrastructure has signed several contracts for a joint value of 5 million euros.
Intelligent Robots consolidates its diversification strategy through the application of advanced technologies and innovation
Airtificial Intelligent Robots has expanded its portfolio and added two new international clients of great financial strength and future projection.
The first new customer has signed a contract for its plant in Portugal that is part of a global negotiation for the launch of the manufacture of electrification components for electric cars. This project consists of the design and commissioning of a line for the assembly of the ‘Primary Drive Unit’ for the battery electric car (BEV).
The project entails a high degree of automation and advanced technology that enables to show the competitive and differential advantages of Intelligent Robots. This contract involves materializing one of the company’s strategic lines, which is to accompany its customers in the change processes that the electrification of vehicles entails.
The second new client is a Japanese corporation that has commissioned a project related to the assembly and verification of brake components, which is another key element of car safety. This project will be executed from the facilities in Mexico.
The opening of this new client represents another step in the partnership philosophy that implies the creation of a relationship of joint growth and open exchange between client and supplier similar to those used by Japanese companies.
Additionally, the Intelligent Robots Unit in the NAFTA area continues to grow by contracting orders related to the automation of processes for a combined value of € 1.5M.

Infrastructures reinforces its benchmark in the water sector
On the other hand, the Infrastructures business unit has been awarded several water engineering projects, among which the one in Peru stands out, with 4 million euros. It is one of the most relevant contracts by amount in the country, and it is highly relevant given that it is the first intervention in a large program of actions.
The contract consists of the “Design of the construction files of the riverside defenses of the Lacramarca river”. The project is part of the Comprehensive Plan for Reconstruction with Changes (PIRCC) of all the physical infrastructure damaged and destroyed by the El Niño Coastal Phenomenon, of 2017, in 13 regions of Peru, which includes actions in the hydraulic, water and sanitation and storm drainage, as well as electrical infrastructure.
It is the first time that the Infrastructure Unit has achieved a private contract of this magnitude and that involves the use of fast-track methodology (construction system in which the project design and the execution of the work are carried out in an overlapping manner), with an execution period of only ten months. This award allows the company to acquire a relevant position for the next phases of the PIRCC and reaffirms its status as a relevant player in the water sector in LATAM.
