The company applies its extensive experience in the development of next generation aerospace systems, its knowledge in air navigation and airport design in favor of more efficient and sustainable urban mobility

Advanced air mobility is a trend that is going to transform cities, evolving towards a more intelligent, efficient and sustainable model. A transformation that has already begun thanks to the development of disruptive technologies, which are gradually being implemented, and which will find one of its greatest exponents in the definition of a new urban airspace.

The international company specialized in aerospace technology, Aertec is already applying its extensive experience in the development of next-generation aerospace systems, its knowledge in the field of air navigation and airport design in favor of more efficient and sustainable urban mobility.

In fact, Aertec is part of different projects, at a national and international level, related to the planning and design of vertiports, which are the infrastructures that aerial vehicles will use, both for the distribution of goods and passenger transport, for takeoff and vertical landing. One of these projects is being developed in Hamburg, in which a consortium of 11 companies, including Aertec, plan the construction of a modular vertiport in 2024 and study its feasibility and efficient integration both in the city and in its airspace.

In addition to the design, planning, and certification of these “airports for drones”, Aertec is specialized in the development of other services in the context of Advanced Air Mobility, such as conducting studies and consulting for UAS services (routes, platforms and use cases); operations management support engineering and safety; and development of technology related to the advanced electrification of aircraft and the design and manufacture of on-board systems.

Aertec has shown its advances in this sector in one of its most important events at the national level, S-MOVING, the Forum for Intelligent, Autonomous and Connected Vehicles that was held on September 21 and 22 at FYCMA, Palacio de Ferias y Congresses of Malaga.
