The deadline for submitting applications is from June 23 to October 16

Fundación Magtel has convened the fourth edition of its “Awards for Excellence” with the aim of highlighting in a committed and responsible way those initiatives that have a positive impact on society in terms of equality and social cooperation, sustainability and technological development, developed during the 2022-2023 academic year.

The president of the entity, Auxiliadora López Magdaleno, highlighted that “the same bases as last year are maintained, in which the scope of the winners was expanded, in order to reach the maximum number of people and organizations and help them achieve with success your projects.

Likewise, she added that these initiatives demonstrate “that things can be done in a different way, improving the day-to-day life of many people and their environment”.
In this sense, the Foundation will award two prizes per category. This means that eight initiatives will be recognized, two for each of the fields in which the entity operates. The period for submitting applications will remain open from June 23, 2023 to October 16, both inclusive.

Applications may be submitted through this link.

Two prizes per category

The categories are Social Innovation, Technological Innovation, Social and Labor Insertion and International Cooperation, each of them endowed with 4,000 euros along with two commemorative distinctions.

The first prize is endowed with 3,000 euros along with a sculpture by Juan Cuenca and the second with 1,000 and a distinction.

The director of Fundación Magtel, Adrián Fernández, indicated that it is about “granting recognition to projects that contribute positively and are benchmarks in improving the quality of life of people and our environment”.

In addition, he has encouraged all entities to present their initiatives to this new call.

In the previous edition, a total of 125 projects from Spain, Colombia, Greece, Italy, Mexico, Nicaragua and Portugal were presented.
