Pegasus Aero Group, one of the most relevant airline operators in Europe and Latin America, has joined the Spanish Network of the United Nations (UN) Global Compact, with the aim of complying with the responsible action plan promoted by the business group.

The Spanish Global Compact Network is one of the first global platforms to which more than 13,500 entities from 165 countries around the world have joined to date. The UN Global Compact is the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative, comprising the principles and values ​​of the United Nations. Thanks to its position, it allows it to foster collaboration between companies and governments to achieve focus on objectives and increase solutions for the challenges facing the planet.

With this adhesion, Pegasus Aero Group, the first Spanish company in its sector to join, will develop its actions with the firm intention of meeting the sustainable development goals and those of the 2030 Agenda.

In this sense, the CEO of Pegasus Aero Group, Héctor Tamarit, has expressed that the adherence of Pegasus Aero Group to this pact reflects “the commitment to continue with a sustainable business model that evolves in line with new behaviors and trends, but always with the clear objective of focusing on people and good practices around them, as well as promoting a more sustainable environment “.
