The aeronautical company Pegasus Aero Group participates in the European Rotors, considered the most relevant helicopter fair in Europe and the second in the world, in pavilion 9 of IFEMA in Madrid from November 28 to 30 together with the main helicopter manufacturers and suppliers in the sector.<\/p>\n
Specifically, the company, in addition to being present with its own stand, carried out a simulation from the Regional Operational Center for Fighting Forest Fires located in Toledo, where a simulation of action in the event of a forest fire has been carried out.<\/p>\n
In particular, two models of Pegasus Aero Group helicopters have been involved, on the one hand a Leonardo AW 119 Koala in forest fire configuration and on the other a Bell 412 also configured with the latest technology for the transmission of images in real time. The drill has been broadcast live from Toledo.<\/p>\n
The Vice President of Pegasus Aero Group, Miguel \u00c1ngel Tamarit, declared that the participation of Pegasus in the fair represents \u201ca clear commitment to advance the development of on-board solutions, linked to R&D&I and protection of nature, that allow more optimal management of emergencies and to be able to have a real-time image transmission\u00bb. Additionally, Tamarit wanted to highlight the importance of being present at this fair due to the diversity of the fleet that Pegasus has and its operational capacity to carry out missions related to security and emergencies, in addition to the maintenance of aircraft that they are carrying out for third parties, as is the case of the Agusta Bell 212 Fleet of the Army.<\/p>\n
This third edition of the European Rotors was inaugurated by the highest representatives of the two most relevant associations in the helicopter sector at a European and global level, the Association of Aerial and Emergency Works (ATAIRE), as well as the highest authorities of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) or the Spanish Aviation Safety Agency (AESA), in addition to other political authorities and industry experts. More than 200 exhibitors and 20 helicopters installed in the fairgrounds have been present at the fair, becoming the reference in Europe for the helicopter industry during this year 2023.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
