The Orange Foundation, the Adecco Foundation and the Magtel Foundation have established a collaboration agreement to promote access to the labor market for people at risk of social exclusion through the development of training programs for the installation of fiber optics to the home in Ja\u00e9n, Granada and M\u00e1laga.<\/p>\n
The project signing ceremony was attended by the director of the Orange Foundation, Daniel Morales, as well as the territorial director of Institutional Relations of Orange, Ra\u00fal Maldonado; the regional director of the Adecco Foundation, Miguel \u00c1ngel de Pedro; and the director of Fundaci\u00f3n Magtel, Adri\u00e1n Fern\u00e1ndez. On behalf of the Malaga City Council, Juan Antonio Berm\u00fadez, from the Innovation Delegation, attended.<\/p>\n
Specifically, the project has as objectives the knowledge of different means of transmission of information; the distinction of the types of fiber optic cables and their characteristics; the execution of the installation and configuration of the elements and equipment that make up a FTTH installation, as well as the verification of compliance with the established quality criteria.<\/p>\n
The courses will have a total duration of 285 hours, with an initial theoretical phase of 185 hours in the classroom-workshop and a non-labor professional internship module of 100 hours in companies in the sector.<\/p>\n
Currently, the telecommunications sector has a high degree of labor insertion due to the high demand for professionals in this field. In this sense, the director of the Orange Foundation, Daniel Morales, has indicated that \u00abfor the Orange Foundation it is essential to make technology a tool for inclusion at the service of those who need it most.\u00bb<\/p>\n
Commitment to insertion<\/p>\n
Likewise, he added that \u00abthe collaboration with Fundaci\u00f3n Magtel consolidates the alliance between our two entities, both committed to the labor insertion of unemployed people through the development of training actions in the fiber optic sector\u00bb and has highlighted that \u00abthe young people who join these training courses acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to carry out a profession with high demand and with real possibilities of insertion\u201d.<\/p>\n
For his part, the regional director of the Adecco Foundation in Eastern Andalusia, Miguel \u00c1ngel de Pedro, commented that \u00abin a competitive and constantly changing labor market, it is essential to influence the training of people who have it most difficult, so that so that they are not left behind and can find sustainable employment over time\u201d. In addition, he added that \u00abthrough this collaboration we materialize this premise, bringing people at risk of exclusion closer to such an important and dynamic sector as telecommunications\u00bb.<\/p>\n
Finally, the director of Fundaci\u00f3n Magtel, Adri\u00e1n Fern\u00e1ndez, highlighted that \u00abthe qualification and professional insertion programs in the fiber optic sector that we have been developing for the last 10 years show the commitment of Fundaci\u00f3n Magtel to people in situations of unemployment\u00bb.<\/p>\n
Likewise, he has recognized that \u201cthe Orange Foundation is being a magnificent travel companion on this journey, to which the Adecco Foundation has also joined, as there are common goals in the three entities to achieve the employability of the participants.<\/p>\n
